ERIC MENKE
Eric Menke has deep experience in business improvement and maximizing shareholder value. He has acquired, re-financed, grown and exited more than a dozen companies in a wide array of industries and business models including business services, consumer products, industrial manufacturing and distribution. His particular strong suites are business process improvement, margin improvement, go-to-market strategy, financial analysis and exit planning.
Mr. Menke was one of the founding partners of Champlain Capital, a successful $140 million private equity fund focused on making private equity and growth capital investments in companies in the middle-market. In that role, Mr. Menke made numerous investments in the industrial, consumer products, and services sectors. Prior to Champlain, Mr. Menke founded Menke Equity Partners, a firm dedicated to sourcing, structuring and financing middle-market buyout transactions. Before forming Menke Equity Partners, Mr. Menke was an officer and board member of MBR Capital, a leveraged buyout fund in which he was responsible for sourcing, structuring and consummating acquisitions on behalf of the partnership. Prior to that, Mr. Menke served with the investment banking firm of Kidder, Peabody & Company. There he was an advisor to senior management teams of companies regarding ESOP buyouts, and tax-related financing strategies. Mr. Menke has served on numerous boards of companies ranging both above and below $100 million in revenues. Mr. Menke received his B.A., cum laude, from the University of Southern California, and his M.B.A. from Northwestern University.
